Guy Hagstette

A registered architect and urban designer who started his career in the private sector, Hagstette was part of a trio of architects who designed Sesquicentennial Park in the mid-1990s. He can take substantial credit for the success of Discovery Green, Plan Houston, his early work designing Sesquicentennial Park, and rediscovering and calling for opening to the public the hidden 1927 water cistern under Buffalo Bayou Park.
